Long Story Short…

Being a handy-dandy person and saving by doing it ourselves is the only way these days!  Like the Patio Table made from 2 wood pallets and it looked pretty cool.  Or the fire pit in the back yard. Things like that are just so cool to me, great for family get together’s.  I found them on the net with instruction and materials list.

Loving to paint and do crafts are so special to me, gives me the feeling of accomplishment and satisfaction.  And most the time looks pretty good :)!  Sometimes things don’t turn out too good at all so try it again, but that’s okay I like doing things artsy and crafty and sometimes the second time of trying something comes out better with new ideas added to it. 🙂 Most important, it’s fun, good exercise for both brain and body.

 

Artist Statement

My love for nature and its beauty is my inspiration to paint. Even as a child I have always had a tender heart for the beauty of nature in the great landscapes and wildlife that God has created. I love painting from my awe of the beauty and peace I find. I hope the viewer of my impressions of what I see and feel finds the same peace.

I am an artist and instructor of fine and decorative art, with many awards and recognition. My work has been commissioned by numerous collectors throughout the United States and UK.

I am owned by three rescue dogs, one large boy who lives in the back yard and two small dogs that share the house with me. They all make sure to give me love and attention and that I get daily exercise by taking walks outside.
